Has anyone observed under a microscope commercial vermicompost, mushroom compost, aerobic bokashi/EM compost, and other composts? What did you find? What is the difference between compost extract and compost tea? Are they equally effective?

Good stuff. Soil Regeneration with Minimal Till MUST BE incorporated into "Organic Operations". Tilling the top inch or two (4 weed control and incorporation of organic matter) is usually BENEFICIAL to the soil. Water infiltration and retention improves and aeration definitely improves. Mulching afterwards then controls weeds nearly 100%. Monoculture (single species) Cover Crops are far less effective than multi-culture cover crops. Best when 4 or more different FAMILIES of plants and over 8 species of plants are planted. Organic Matter gains can be MULTIPLES (2 to 6 times) of a Monoculture Cover Crop...and the Microbiology DIVERSITY is > 10 times better (each species brings its own microbiota and GENETIC DIVERSITY). ________________ We didn't steal America...we conquered it....JUST LIKE THE TRIBES did to other tribes before we got here.. for at least 20,000 yesrs. Their battle "victories" involved murdering all male adults (who didnt escape) and taking all the surviving women and children as sex slaves/forced "marriages" and as slaves of burden. The Boys were indoctrinated and trained as warriors. That's the ugly truth of the succession of ownership of territories. Western Civilizatioj put a stop to Milennia of this horrendous violence between tribes....until the Idiot Woke Marxists arose upon the scene late this century.

Doesn't this trained audience notice that? 1) In his "honeycomb" the "expert" equates covalent bonds within the molecules and hydrogen bonds between the molecules. Oxygen would therefore be 3-bonded and hydrogen 2-bonded. Massive violation of bonding rules, even some high school students recognize this mistake. Actually, the model is already dead. But further: 2a) Water clusters cannot have a regular hexagonal shape (honeycomb). The bond angle in the molecule is 104.5°, the bond distance is about 96.5 pm. To the H-bridges there is an angle of about 180° and a distance of about 180 pm. Honeycomb adé. 2b) Since 6 hydrogens then project at a 104° angle to the six sides of the cluster and this is also true for the neighboring clusters, a regular connection to a compound becomes difficult, moreover the 6 hydrogens are also positively polarized. 2c) For the same reasons, a multilayer of clusters also becomes problematic. It cannot be directly overlaid as shown under any circumstances. 3) The hexagonal honeycomb is based on the dipole character of the water molecules, which can thus form hydrogen bonds. These are immediately destroyed again by the ubiquitous Brownian molecular motion (lifetime in the range of picoseconds (10 -12 s). 4) If these clusters exist in any form at all, they would be destroyed in the stomach at the latest. They would be protonated by the extremely acidic stomach contents, partially receive a positive ionic charge and decompose themselves. 5) I am a biochemist myself and work with vital life processes. If it were possible to produce water with such a much better quality by "swirling", "hexagonalizing" etc., all medical or biological laboratories worldwide would prepare their bacteria, algae, animal or cell cultures only with such water. I do not know anyone who does this. But with Polack's findings, water is "energized" worldwide and millions are taken out of the pockets of the faithful.

I know it seem like you should leave the bottom branches, but in my 40 years of experience with this plant you are better off cutting thee entire plant. If your bottom branches are not coming up to make a canopy, then you need to space them farther apart next time. The cardboard and wood chips will need to sit and be tilled at least a year. Both of those ingredients deplete nitrogen retain too much water, and keep air from going down in the soil to the roots. They hate wet feet, and they like to breathe. Those 2 things will make your PH drop. They do the best at 6.5 to 7, they do dont like really acidic soil.
